What does a photographed face say to you? In this creative workshop, local photographer Owens Daniels will guide participants in how to reveal a portrait subject’s inner story through principles of composition, pose, and light.
This two-part course is designed to capture the drama and complexities of a person. It is inspired by the work of Kwame Brathwaite and the upcoming spring 2022 exhibition, Black Is Beautiful. Participants should bring their own cameras and have a basic or intermediate level of photography experience.
